ENG: Last month, I held the second workshop in my project, this time with Dr. Moritz Engbers (his homepage here), an independent transformation researcher and facilitator of transdisciplinary processes. We organized this workshop for the Nigerian and Ghanaian scholarship holders of our DAAD SDG Graduate School “Performing Sustainability: Cultures and Development in West Africa (here),” who were in Hildesheim as part of their research stay in Germany. We had fruitful conversations about how to design transdisciplinary processes in sustainability sciences and discussed potential challenges. While the scholarship holders worked in groups on different aspects of the transdisciplinary implementation of their research findings in future endavours, Moritz and I discussed some of the central transdisciplinary methods in my project and the complexities of bringing stakeholders together.
ESP: El mes pasado, realicé el segundo taller de mi proyecto, esta vez junto con Dr. Moritz Engbers (su página web aquí), un investigador independiente de transformación y facilitador de procesos transdisciplinarios. Organizamos este taller para los becarios nigerianos y ghaneses de nuestra Escuela de Posgrado “Performing Sustainability: Cultures and Development in West Africa (aquí)”, quienes estaban en Hildesheim como parte de su estancia de investigación en Alemania. Tuvimos conversaciones fructíferas sobre cómo diseñar procesos transdisciplinarios en las ciencias de la sostenibilidad y discutimos los desafíos potenciales. Mientras los becarios trabajaban en grupos en diferentes aspectos de la implementación transdisciplinaria de los resultados de su investigación, Moritz y yo debatimos algunos de los métodos transdisciplinarios centrales en mi proyecto y las complejidades de reunir a diferentes actores involcurados.
